Tim Riker joined Kramer Financial in 2007 when he transferred from Edward Jones in search of a firm that would allow him to best serve his deaf and hard of hearing clients. Tim earned his B.S. in Business Administration and an Executive Financial Planning Certificate from Georgetown University. Tim, along with other team members, won the grand prize in the 2002 Georgetown University Idea Challenge for Viable Technologies. He also assisted with the founding of the National Deaf Business Institute located at Gallaudet University.

Tim also brings experience working at top International law firms, including top 8 law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, as ranked by The American Lawyer, 2006 Rankings, where he assisted partners with managing multi-million dollar contracts with Fortune 500 clients.
